Have your own personal sexual habits fallen into a rut? For some masturbation is infrequent, or nearly nonexistent after they find a sexual partner.

5. Make time for masturbation

Item number one in the self-care handbook should be masturbation. Masturbation provides stress relief, creative use of one's imagination and is often the best sex you'll ever have. Best of all, it's free!

How much masturbation one requires is up to the individual. Try making it at least part of your weekly routine.

4. Change up pornography, or add it in

There was a time before you found the type of pornography you like. Now is the time before you find another kind you like. Think of pornography as added imagination. If your partner is against your use of pornography, perhaps probe to find what the real issue is. Is that they feel it makes you unfaithful?

3. Slow down

During sexual activity, your body produces chemicals that heighten sexual arousal. Slowing down your masturbation allows you to capitalize on these chemicals. Give your body the time it needs to make your orgasms better.

Creating the time for masturbation instead of "fitting it in" will allow you to slow down and enjoy yourself more.

2. Don't judge your fantasies

Fantasies are not real. What you think about during masturbation is your own business. For context, imagine what you would like to do to the person you hate most in the world.
