The usual dinner and a movie date is usually fine, but every now and then guys want to be “wowed” on a date that you planned yourself. As women, our first instincts are to cook or put in a Rom Com movie at home, however, there are a few dates that will really impress him outside of the usual activities.

The best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but there are a few meal courses he prefers over others. First of all, he doesn’t want to eat the salads and yogurt you are constantly eating as a part of your diet. Men want to eat manly food, such as pizza, hot wings, ribs, steaks and other protein-filled items. If you can’t cook it, you take him to his favorite restaurant and pick up the tab. It’s a thoughtful and impressive date that he will appreciate.

Sports, whether its watching them or playing them, are always a guys favorite past time. Some girls are born to be athletic, some are born to be spectators. However, going out on a limb and attempting to do some sort of sports-related activity for him is very impressive and it will be something that the both of you will enjoy. You can always offer sexy rewards for whoever wins. ;)

Adventure is also a factor that interests men during dates. Take him to the nearest amusement park or try another adrenaline-rushing activity that will bring the two of you closer together. Men like adventure dates because its shows that the girls trust them and are willing to go out of their comfort zone for their relationship.

Catering to a man’s needs is the most important thing in planning a date for the two of you. Men always seek good food, good beer, sports and adventure—and that’ll never change. If you can combine them or incorporate those man-friendly concepts into your date with your man—he’ll be happy and beyond impressed.
